Hey Warriors, I'm not a good copywriter... nor will I ever claim to be. But I stumbled upon a pretty simple formula that's gotten me completely outstanding results. In fact, one of my pages which is using this technique is, right now, getting over 14% conversions rates on completely COLD traffic (at 27$...). I think I picked this up from a Frank Kern video. And I'm pretty sure he picked it up from someone else. Anywho. The process is this simple...
I basically took that formula, put it down in a recorded powerpoint presentation, put in a small intro, told them the price, and made the order button pop up after the presentation was over. Like I said... this is working really, really well for me at the moment. So I'd encourage anyone to test it out with one of their products. If you'd like to see the page that's currently bringing in my huge conversions, PM me and I'll shoot you over a link. Hope this helps someone out there! |

Interestingly, Carlton gave him a 4-point formula but Kern only remembered hearing 3 points. 1. Here’s what I have to offer 2. Here’s why it’s right for you 3. Here are some questions you may have about it 4. Here’s what to do now Alex

Yeah. I didn't really think either one of them 'invented' the strategy. But a lot of times, it's not who invented it... it's who put their name on it. |

Interesting tip. Thanks for sharing, Jesse & Alex. I do wonder whether it would work offline as well - especially when doing copy for agencies. What do you think?

The usual components of a sales letter --- like credibility, offer, call to action, etc must still be present. The principles of persuasion are the same online and offline. Alex

Yup..gotta agree with that....in regular sales (non internet related sales ie phone or in-person) we use the same process, be it you call it spin selling, pro-3, six step...it all leads to the same thing will my product solve a problem and are you willing to buy at "x" amount.

These are great tips/reminders, Jesse and Alex. I'm just getting started in IM, but 35 years of sales offline tells me the basic principles should be the same. Agood offer won't fail if we remember to use the basics. Thanks, Randy Simmons |
