Excellent Interview Kevin!

John declared this round of interviews as the best work he has done!

"it's the best stuff I've done" johncarlton007 on Twitter!

James-- Thanks man. I'd have to agree with him.

You raised the bar highest with your interview. Great work.

Paul-- so true. In fact, I think more links are in order. You got anything handy that can challenge Mac's fiery licks? Love to hear more. I've been playing the same 5 chords for 10 years... at this point I'm content to live my shredder fantasies through those who've figured the thing out.

BTW, just to tie this all together even tighter... Schramko tells a great story about being on the road with John and mentioning his son kept asking for a guitar, but James wasn't convinced he'd actually take the time to learn it.

John bullied him into buying his kid a guitar "right now, while he's hot for it."

James felt so bad he called his wife and said "You've got to take him down to the guitar store right away and let him pick out anything he wants, then sign him up for lessons."

Apparently, the boy had been doing his research because later, when James asked him how his first lesson went, he said, "Once the instructors quit passing my guitar around, it went great."

Aww, c'mon, Paul, the story was just getting good. Imagine the fun you'll miss sipping tea with Mary Carey and Andy Dick.

Thought I'd give this a bump.

If you haven't heard the interview, yet... are you crazy?

Go.. go and listen to it now. It's full of healthy goodness (Or is that milk?)

But it really is full of nuggets. And I personally like where John and Kevin discuss some of the copywriting greats of the near past.

To say I'm disapointed would be an understandement..
I saw the title and immediately thought you were doing an interview with none other than the ORIGINAL the ONLY Carlton that ever walked the earth...

If you do an interview with him... Ask him where he gets his dance moves from.. and I'll be happy as a pig in mud =)
