Writing reviews... mine doesn't get clickthroughs

Hi

I am sorry if this isn't the correct place for this but it seemed to make sense (in my head).

I have written a review for a product and people are going to the page according to my analytics but the owner of the product says he hasn't had any hits on my affiliate link.

The review is at Tradeshrk Tennis | Tipster League

I use the product and believe in it but I don't think my review is working. Can anyone offer advice on writing reviews and what I have done wrong with this one?

aren't getting targeted traffic to your review site.

Loren might be right--you might not be getting any targeted visits. If that's the case then you will want to address that.

But I think there's also another possibility:

You give a lot of good information, but not very much inspiration to click.

Add how you have personally put this to work and how it has worked for you. Get emotional. Grab people at an emotional level.

Then inspire them to click with curiosity. "Heck, just the bonus he's offering right now could make anyone--even a complete novice--$$$" - but don't tell them what the bonus is.

Re write this and you should get many clicks.

Paul and Kevin are right.

But also--no offense or disrespect, your review is kinda a yawn.

No personality, no charm, no emotion, no story. It looks and feels contrived.

You may know what you're talking about, but it's also confusing.

If you want to learn how to write a great review, an authentic review, check out the reviews at Amazon or Yelp. Follow their lead.

The longer the ones, the better.

Then to get people to click through, you have to give them an irresistible reason. I don't know what it is for this product, but you need to find something that will get them to click through.

I am really new to this but you are probably correct. The majority of my traffic seems to come from twitter. I use onlywire to try and get backlinks for my blogs.

Looking at it from that angle I suppose that there is no targetted traffic, I think.

I have had a look for some forums but they never seem to be that busy. I still have to have a look through Yahoo Answers and Google groups.

The niche is sports trading on betting exchanges and I don't think that I have 'chosen' an ideal niche to be honest. I am currently working my way through the 30 day challenge and am on the keyword research part of it. Unfortunately I am finding it very difficult to find a good selection of keywords.

The main reason I do the blog is because I earn money from the trading and just want to chat about it.

If anyone has any experience or ideas in sports trading please give me some pointers if you can.

I don't take offence at the comments normally especially when they're constructive so thanks for that. I will start going through Amazon and looking at reviews so hopefully I can give it an extreme makeover,

You say that you believe in this system - do you actually use it and have you made any money betting on tennis using it? Put in some of those details, with enthusiasm, and you will go along way to having a better chance at sales.

And you don't have any call to action in there at all. You must have a good strong call to action - tell them exactly what to do. The only link I see live in the review goes to a completely different site. That I would remove. Sell that program separately or it looks like you're trying to rake money out of them by the bucket full.
