I've been a member for many years but just used it for the
link juice. I've never pursued this as a marketing tool or
paid much attention to it.

Now you've just changed that.

I looked up "Donald Yerke" for your profile and the links on your
"My Website" etc are written as http://wwwmywebsite.com
(note the missing "." after www, so this has nothing to do
with your website itself.

I had heard from another guy before that linkedin was very good place to get new clients. At that time, I didn't give it much thought, but you have now reminded me of it and suddenly I want to spend some time on this site to checkout the results.

Thanks for this. I've heard a lot of positive things about LinkedIn, but never set up a profile. Since it doesn't take much time to set up an account and your method sounds fairly "hands off" anyway, I'm definitely going to give it a go now.
