Default Creating a Headline that Works

Hey all, I have been really struggling lately with creating a great headline for my pitch page in the video gaming niche.

For the purpose of asking for assistance, please review the very top of the page at Cataclysm Gold Guide 20k Leveling

There are currently 2 headlines being shown (you may need to refresh 2-3 times to see both) and they have a 50% chance of showing up.

I'm trying to create curiousity instantly for new visitors who may have never heard of me before.

As it stands, the vast majority of my sales are to people who already know who I am and therefore could care less about what's on my pitch page. They know that I give them quality content all the time on many fronts so they assume the guide must be of the same content.

Where I fail is in boosting affiliate sales. Right now, I'm converting (for affiliates) at around 5-20% depending on how well they talked me up on their review pages. The ones who attract my own current readers are the ones that convert super high, with keywords such as 'buy markco's guide'. The ones converting at 5% are the ones selling for the industry's keywords like 'wow gold guide' or 'wow cataclysm guide' or 'making gold in wow'. These are the ones I want to help with a compelling headline.

How do I show that my pitch page is worth reading to an audience who is bouncing around the internet looking for a gold guide?

Thank you so much for your assistance, I really do take everything you guys say here and try to give it a shot. You're all very amazing people.

Thanks for the advice, I will try creating a split testing cookie system for a bunch of headlines and see which converts best.

I'll optin to that site as well.
