Carlton Event in SD

How many people here are going to do the Carlton event "online"

My 8 year old daughter's birthday was today, and and tomorrow is my 10th wedding anniversary is, so needless to say since I value my life I couldn't make it to San Diego.

I did go ahead and buy the online event though,and was just curious how many other people did as well.

And with the above said I've always thought that buying tapes and whatnot of events is rather useless.

Even when I learn a ton at a live event, it's always the 2 or 3 good contacts I'm able to make that actually pay for going. So, it was kind of a struggle for me to decide to just get the content, but i'm hoping the online "community" aspect of it also pays off. We will see.

I'll be watching the online version as well. Couldn't find a flight that matched my schedule.

Well South Dakota is full of great faces and great places, but I don't think Carlton's one of em

How was the event from a networking point of view?

Like I said to me that's the primary reason to go to any of these events. I was interested in Carlton's view from home package because I was curious to see how they would go about creating that with the stay at home viewers this weekend.

Unfortunately that has not happened. On saturday we were supposed to get the video's from Friday, in addition to being able to interact with each other. They seem to have technical difficulties though, so we got an email that everything would be up today.

Thus far today I've not gotten any email's with any updates at all from his office.

So from my point of view, at this point the online event has been a bust.

I'm still interested to see what type of content they put out, but like I said that is not the main reason I purchased the product. So, it's only $300, so it's not a huge deal to me, and I've gotten enough value from Carlton's material in the past - and he's got a great reputation for coming through.

Anyway, if anyone was actually at the event I'd love to hear feedback.
