Arrow What's Wrong With This Picture?...

This is my first time will ClickBank products so far I have a site with links directing visitors to the product.

I have impressions but no sales...

My set up is as follows:

-Article of How to Train Your Dog.

-On the bottom there is a little paragraph with a call to action like this... "For my info on Dog Training click here..."

-Then it brings visitors to affiliates landing page.

So is that good or do I need to presell more? Any advice would be great.

You need more presell.

Get them involved, feed them more information. They will start to feel in a commitment and therefor need the rest of the product... that you link them to.

You should try to get them onto an email autoresponder first, which will make them more likely to buy in the future

It's better if you send them to your own landing page first, rather than directly to the affiliate page, for a couple of reasons.

1. You can grab their contact info and gain their trust with helpful emails and eventually, some product recommendations. They need to hear from you and your offer at least 5-7 times before they make the decision to buy. Your emails help put them in that frame of mind.

2. You can write a review or your own article, a personal experience with dogs perhaps, that lets them know that you can relate to the topic. This should not be a selling page, but a pre-sell page where you let them know you can relate to the problem, and here's the product that will help as it helped you.

Does the affiliate product convert well? How many impressions have you gotten?

Preselling will increase conversions, but you should be able to get sales without it if the copy converts.
