Default Please Tear Apart My Squeeze Page

Hi Warriors,

Trying my hand at writing a squeeze page. I do a lot of article marketing, and it makes sense to me that a squeeze page would be a natural progression for this kind of marketing.

At the moment I think it's converting at about 15%, although it's only been up about 24 hours so that is hardly statistically valid scientific evidence. I think I should be shooting for at least 30% but I honestly don't really know.

If you could rip it apart and give me your opinions, I would be grateful.

Kind regards,

-Dan

Try split testing your squeeze page (you can do this for free with Google Adwords Optimizer), and in your test put the opt in box above the fold.
Also test a shorter squeeze page to see how it impacts response.
You can also add a photo to your squeeze page, that often times really increases conversion rate. If you don't want to add your own photo, you can add a stock photo (just make sure the shot doesn't look too staged).
