Why not approach the writers you're already predisposed to
and ask them? You'll probably consume a lot less of
everybody's time doing that instead of a wallet-waving
cattle call.

Hans is actually one of the go-to guys for poker/betting. Having said that, I think he might be out of your budget these days. Maybe he'll do it for $3k + a taste of the backend... not sure.

I'm reasonably sure he wrote a #1 on CB for the betting market, but could be wrong about that.

In addition to the Warriors here, you might want to Google Carl Galletti, John Carlton, Scott Haines and Michel Fortin while doing your due diligence. I'm not sure of their prices, but I do know that depending on whether they are busy at the moment, they may adjust their fees.

I just wanted to jump in and THANK YOU for realizing how valuable a good copywriter truly is!

I see all too many wanna-hire-a-copywriter people offering like $500 and acting like they're paying the world. This is worse than laughable - it's insulting.

I very much appreciate you offering a reasonable amount from the get-go. Although many experienced top-grade copywriters usually get double or triple this amount, you most certainly are in the ball-park.

PS - I have had a couple approach me for my service - and I do cut fellow Warriors a discount. One not only got offended by my quote - he went on to write his own website, then kept posting here to request FREE critiques until he got a quality site.

Of course, after being mad wears off, you realize that job was not with the type of client that you would want anyway.
