Default Dragon Naturally Speaking- Don't Buy it if You Have Windows 7!!

Dragon is a great product and I constantly hear IMs and writers discussing whether they should purchase it or not. Often people are hesitant because of the expense....

However, if you have Windows 7, then you have a FREE, comprehensive program on your pc right now that is as good as or better than Dragon.

Go to the search tab under the Start menu and type in:

"Windows Speech Recognition"

Click the result to get started.

WSR learns your speech mannerisms and nuances just like Dragon does and rapidly gets better the more you use it. However, a headset microphone should be used for best results.

I typically write about 5,000 words/day and I use WSR constantly. In fact, I also use it to surf the web and basically order my computer around. Without it my hands are usually pretty sore by the end of the day. Your articles or content will require more editing, but you'll get them done much faster and without killing your joints, so it's worth it.

This sounds like an ad, I know, but it's FREE. Just trying to save you guys some money. Check it out. If you don't like it, get the $50 basic version of Dragon at WalMart.

Exceptional Article Writing Services: $35/article

Powerful Press Release Services: $45/release

Extremely high quality. Limited client list. 100% Money-back guarantee and unlimited revisions that you'll never need.

I think Dragon Naturally Speaking is one of the best products I have ever brought

http://www.fb.chilesadvertising.com/emaillist How Tinstletown uses stories to hook you in and keep you paying for their crappy movies.•The 3 act “surprise” and “easy themes” that Hollywood uses to sell the same concept over and over and over (and you can use it to sell more of your product-without selling hard or being pushy. *My clients include Harris Fellman, Amish Shah, and Mike Koenigs

I have not tried the built in voice recognition with Windows 7 yet but in Windows Vista I had HORRIBLE accuracy, every sentence was gibberish. I use Dragon Naturally Speaking every day and I love it.

I may give the voice recognition in Windows 7 a try to see if it's any different than it was with Vista but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I have Dragon Naturally Speaking and I find that it is good when I want to talk instead of write but I usually have to do a lot more editing than normal as it does come up with some weird words.
