Default Spotting A Lie In A Sales Copy

I can't really get into detail with this without giving away who it is but what do you do if someone is lying in their sales copy. It isn't a testimonial thing or "the product doesn't work". Much worse.

His copy says one thing, and he messages me the exact opposite.

Thanks guys.

If you know there's a big lie, I might consider contacting the person and letting them know privately.

Could be a simple mistake. If they refuse to correct or don't correct it after you contact them, I might see about contacting whoever hosts the website (be it Hostgator or Clickbank) and let them know about the deceptive content being hosted.

They might then issue a general warning to the person about their content.

But again, be sure there is dishonesty. Don't go stirring up trouble of the "contact Host" caliber without evidence. I've had to do it before, and failure to comply can get the person's hosting revoked, if I recall.

Cheers,

Angel

You should indeed point out to him that you know what he is up to.
But unless you are a customer of his, I don't think a host or publisher will take any actions against he vendor.

Sorry for the late response. Thank you guys for your input I am throwing him a message now.

I should note it is in the Warrior For Hire so it is not an outside website.

Hopefully, knowing that you are on to him should make him rethink his strategy. It's good that you are letting him know your thoughts and maybe he will change his ways.

Don't you wish there was a way to make the lie detector in your brain go off better? Truth is, there isn't. All you can do is guess and hope. Lying is one of the reason's the world is messed up right now.

It's not what you know, it's who you know.

Stop thinking only about helping yourself achieve your goals, and start thinking helping others help you achieve your collective goals.
