Copywriting Inquiry

Hi everyone,

My name is Hazel and I'm an aspiring copywriter. Although I have experience working in several aspects of copywriting (though never owning an actual 'copywriter' title), I'm embarking on this specific career path a little later in life than expected, and am now reaching out to like-minded professionals in the hopes of gaining some real world insight into the profession.

That said, I just had a few questions I'm hoping you can answer for me:

1. Is it possible to get started on a copywriting career with minimum experience in the field, but with applicable expertise in marketing, account management, creative development and as a writer? Is there anything you suggest, to this end, in terms of where I should be focusing my efforts (i.e. spec ads? Or something else?)

3. Do you feel you have more job stability as a freelance copywriter or working as part of an agency?
