Default Syndicated Copy

In his 1983 book "How to Make Your Advertising Make Money" John Caples talked about an advertising copywriter named Frank Irving Fletcher. He mentioned that "Fletcher increased his earnings by syndicating his copy--that is, he sold the same copy again and again to various stores throughout the United States."

Just curious. Do any copywriters do that today?

If I remember correctly, Dan Kennedy advocated this at a seminar I attended a couple of years ago.

Once you develop a letter, or a series you license it to different businesses for use in their market or geography.

Joe,

Bob Serling created an entire course about
licensing proven campaigns.

Don't own it, don't remember what it was called.

Maybe somebody else does?

Best,

Brian

Bob Serling created a great course called Million Dollar Licensing. The whole idea is exactly what you are talking about...licensing a proven marketing campaign to different companies.

As others have said, Bob Serling has a course called Million Dollar Licensing on this exact concept. He has some great free material when he does his launches, and a lot of people have made six figures + on the free material alone.

I don't have the course and have not seen it, but I've heard good things about it.

One of the easiest campaigns to syndicate is a past client/customer reactivation campaign. I have just started a consulting business here in St Paul working with bricks and mortar business doing just that. I did one for an accountant that will add almost 60% to his bottom line this year and he had to hire two additional full time employees.
