This nutritional supplement copy example uses a news format very effectively (in my opinion).

The copywriter leverages a "fact" that had been widely publicized in newspapers and TV news at the time.

Plus there are many borrowed and implied credibility elements in the copy.

Makes for a good addition to the 'ol copywriter swipe file.

Mark, have you seen it running in the same publication for long?

In other publications too?

I know a guy here who's setting himself up to enter the same product
space, so any help on the ad would be of great help.

Hey Ewen.

I did not see this ad appear very broadly. In fact I only caught it in 2 or 3 publications at best. (And only a single insertion)

My swipe was from the USA Today's Sunday magazine insert in my local newspaper about a year or so ago.
