Default What do you think of my websites content?

Hi Warriors,

I wanted to ask the experienced content writers to please review my website (SEO Company | SEO Consultant | SEO Consulting) and provide me feedback on my websites content.

What can I do to improve it?

Thanks,
Ahmad

One thing that is critical in this market is PROOF. I've done work for SEO companies before and the biggest thing I pushed was having tons of proof of #1 positions. That's what people are after, and if you can PROVE you can do it, it all becomes easier.

Ever wondered how copywriters work with their clients? I've answered that very question in detail-> www.salescomefirst.com

Do you think there are people out there who could use SEO but don't know what SEO stands for? There are thousands of them. It would do you well to explain what SEO is right up front.

First thought was that your text is very small. The more effort I have to put in to read something, the less likely I am to do so.

Talking about getting a website ranked is fine, but I think better would be to start by asking how the business is going to attract new customers, grow, take on the local competition etc, because that's what your custoemrs will really want. The ranking's just a means to an end.

Ask your prospect to think about what they do when they're looking for something on the internet - they probably just enter a couple of keywords and then go for one of the top three hits. Then ask them where their website is. Then ask them how much more traffic (implied: business) they'd get if they were in one of those three spots. Then explain how you'll get them there. Then prove you can do it.

This will take your prospect through the whole thought process, and I'd be willing to bet you'd get a decent increase in conversion.

Must admit, if I was looking to hire an SEO consultant, I'd probably just stick 'SEO Consultant' into Google and go for whoever was at #1, since it seems a safe bet they're pretty good at the job...

I agree, I'm thinking of adding a few case studies on my site.

I agree, I'm thinking maybe a quick video or slideshow.

Thanks for the feedback! My site is actually ranked #9 for SEO Consulting and #18 for SEO Consultant. I'm actively doing SEO on this site to get it ranked in the top 5.

On the positive side, you talk about getting more customers, not traffic.

A key differentiator would be to work this into your copy. Driving raw numbers and gaming the analytics -- not to mention the clients -- rather than focussed, targeted traffic. Exposé style copy.

By and large, the SEO industry's answer to conversions is if you're getting 0.00025% conversions what you need is 5,000 times the traffic. All that does is up client bandwidth costs.

There's a powerful position against typical SEO. Try developing it.

-> Increase the text size, cut down the number of words on the first page.

-> What's your USP? Your first job is to rank against the competition. How are you doing that?

-> Make it second person, conversational. (We'll assign you to your own personal SEO consultant. This means that ...).

-> Target the business and personal needs.

Business needs: survival, profits, cost saving, competitive advantage, etc.
Personal: spending less time at the office, advancement, personal income, etc.

-> Make everything more specific.

I've just finished a presentation for a SEO company. So feel free to mail me at razvan.rogoz@gmail.com and we'll see what we can do.

Thanks,
Razvan

Here are some recommendations:
Do a few case studies, and include screen shots of before and after rankings.
Make the type larger.
Add bullet points to some of your key benefits
Make the offer at the end more visible

All I can contribute is possibly darken the text, make it slightly larger and consider your punctuation (the very second line has a '-' where it should be a ',' comma). Third line "Today’s competitive Internet world consists of two types of web sites …the have’s and the have not’s" - you should have a ';' (semicolon) where the elipsis' are.

If you're keen for a proofread on the content you type up, give me a shout

Nice look, otherwise!

Hi Ahmad,

I think there are many things you could do to improve your copy
but may I ask you a question?

What percentage of visitors at the moment are asking for a quote or calling
you as a direct result of the website?
