UK Press Release distribution?

I have a (timely) site related to the News of the World fiasco. I'd like to get a press release out to the UK. I'm doing the $360 PRWeb distribution in the States. Does anyone have a favorite distribution mechanism for the UK? Happy to pay for a good service. P.S. This is similar to a post I made in the main forum a few days ago, but it got no response. I know some awesome UK copywriters hang here.

I don't know much about sending Press releases, I'm not sure if PRWeb is still as popular as it was these days.

You could always try your hand at sending it to the Metro newspaper as it is given away for free and pretty much anyone who is using public transport reads it.

Thanks, Pete. I am moderately familiar with that newfangled Google thang and hear it's all the rage, but am hoping to get feedback from someone who's got good results from a distribution service they knew firsthand. I, for example, have never regretted paying PRWeb in the states but don't know how well they perform in the UK.
