I've not used it myself, but have heard some good stuff about it. I pointed another warrior to this in a different post. For the price, you can't go wrong, and you can always post your finished copy here for review.

I think I bought this product a long time ago, and remember it being a bit of a cop out.

For example one of the suggestions it gives you is to improve your offer by giving people more product.

Ie: If you have a video course, have it remade into text and audio and then you are offering people 3 things instead of 1.

What a bunch of bs.

Hi,

I bought the course long ago, when it was named 3 Hour Ad Course and found a lot of good things in it. It has been updated and name changed.

Well worth the price to increase your speed.

I've bought Super Powercopy by Paul Hancox. He is absolutely brilliant.

I'm sure there are other solid courses out there, but if I had to recommend
one, it'd definitely be Paul's.

Yeah total BS. I mean that's exactly what I do and man it doesn't work at all. Oh except for 4 WSO's of the Day this year ... and about 6 figures income last year. For sure guys - don't do this. Seriously - you might accidentally get successful if you do.

If it's the Jason Fladlien course BUY IT. He knows his stuff and he knows how to present it. There are plenty of copywriting theory books and courses and they are almost all the same in theory. What you need is a method for delivering that theory.
Jason maps out a step by step map though 15 intense videos that take you to the result you want, becoming an expert copywriter.

Most other courses by the top guys are nothing more then seminars where they have long winded conversions with the audience.

Another good one is "Stopwatch Articles" by Paulie Ciara. Short but method packed with great step-by-step advice.

From a consumer's viewpoint, I think this is good.

I prefer reading to videos, and audio to reading.. so having the information in 3 formats would be a selling point.

I bought Paul Hancox's personal course as well as the Super Powercopy and recommend them to everyone.

They are more expensive than Jason Fladlien's course.

I have several of Fladlien's products and they are all well worth the money.

You call this bs? Isn't the offer the most important part in a salesletter? I think it was Gary Halbert who stated that.

This. I also prefer to have things in PDF format, something I can download and read. Videos are great, but if it's just someone talking, I'd rather read it. And when i come across things available to purchase with 2-3 different formats, all included for "1 Low Price!" then I'm much more likely to buy it.

I got a copy of this 15 December and found it not to be all as expected. I have written a number of times to the helpdesk and got no reply. Easy to see why this guy doesn't use clickbank.

WOuld not buy from this guy again!

Jason Fladlien's copywriting shortcut success system is basically an introductory course on copywriting. It consists of 15 videos and is suitable if you're new to copywriting or first time product launch. It focuses quite a lot on increasing the value of the offer to make the sales copy more persuasive.

If you're interested to know more about copywriting, you should get Paul Hancox's super power copy. In the 15 hour (!!!) long course, he talks only about writing an excellent copy, and even has 3 case study videos where he types out the copy on the spot.

Thanks for the info Shawn. I'm just a little disappointed that some people don't hold up to their promises... I'll take a look at Paul Hancox's as you suggested.

It's now been a full two weeks since I contatcted customer support. I have written four times now asking for a response. NOTHING!

I'm sorry to say that I would not touch anything this guy has to offer since he or someone on his support desk can't even have the courtesy to respond to a simple request.

A two week turnaround time to respond is not great by any standard. It's pathetic.

Customer service problems too? I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt though.

Ok. It took a bit of time but now I have had a response and a refund with an apology. Shame I had to put it out on the forum before anything happened though.

Having said that, it's only fair to say that it was resolved in the end.

I bought StopWatch Copywriting, and I found some nuggets in it. Well worth the money. Having everything organized was really helpful, and I loved the bit about the offer. The "bs." I'm not sure how anyone didn't think that was good advice.

The problem in this case was not so much the product itself but the 2 week wait for a response from support. In my opinion, you can have the best product on the planet but if you customer service sucks, you will lose customers and more importantly their trust.

EPIC! This was a great reply. PERCEIVED VALUE is a great thing and if the audience wants to pay extra money for the same info in different formats, how can we as marketers refuse to take their money. We did work hard at producing the content, right?

It is not a bad tool. Actually you can go ahead and buy one. But still I would like you to try Hancox's Super powercopy. It is very good, especially for someone who wants to get deeper about copywriting. It has case study videos which I believe will serve you right.
