Hi, everyone, I'm currently looking for the landing page template/design or some tips for producing good conversion/optin rates. Can anyone plz help out with this?
Also, what's the Word(s) that can urge the visitor to optin? Opinions are greatly appreciated . Thanks

Sean Lowery's DIY minisite kit is ridiculously cheap and has very professional graphics. I found it *after* paying $400 for a (nice) custom site.

The trend varies on the Internet from a graphical squeeze page/landing page to a page that does not have graphics at all.
Personally I am seeing that the no graphic style is simple, easier and converts well. For the squeeze page make sure that you have the following components: 1. Headline 2. Sub headline (optional) 3. 3-5 benefits 4. Make sure that your optin box is above the folder so that those viewing the page do not have to scroll down to view it. Upper right side is a good placement to consider. Giving a free something or other helps with optin conversations as well. 5. Copyright notice on the bottom left hand side of the page. Also might consider adding contact info. Hope this helps. |

What's the purpose of the video? Instead of doing video because 'you heard it was good', how does it make your message stronger? What makes you stand out in YOUR market by using video? If you don't have an answer for the above question, nothing you put on the landing page will help. And this is besides the obvious 'pluses' of video, ie captures attention, targets their visual and audio senses, etc. ex: Landing page for self help advice -I can better relate to my cxr as a human being Landing page for tech product/software -I can give a visual demo of how easy the software is

I'd stay away from video unless, as kctang said, it truly strengthens your message, & does it in a way that compelling copy, arresting graphics, & intelligent layout & design cannot. ~ Kat
