So I've got a few capture pages that convert alright and a funnel that makes some sales... But I can't help but think how much more I could be making if my capture pages had a much higher conversion rate. So this post is to inquire some of the professional copywriters in this forum as per their rates for a capture page targeting network marketers... I'll be upfront: I'm at the "tire kicker" stage right now, but I do see the value of a high converting capture page... so I'm sure I'll be in the market for some squeeze page copy very soon. So what's available my fellow warriors?? Hook me up with a killer deal! I'll even post some testimonials and provide references... *Disclaimer: Just because I'm making a post asking for help, it's not an admission that I suck at writing copy. It's more to acknowledge that some of these copywriters here can blow my copy away and I might as well leverage that same winning flow... |

most recently i get 61% plus from solo ads... but - gasp - it's not always the copy... same copy in a different format pulled 15% lower... the break down of impact on conversions goes something like - traffic source 60%, offer 30%, copy 10%... and then somewhere in there is graphic design, etc. for a total of over 100%... how's that for unfair - most others only have 100% to work with but i've just given you more than 100% - you should be set... so get higher quality traffic, make the offer sweeter, then tweak your copy and design... now i'm wondering if i just wasted the truth on someone since no one takes free advice... oh well - who's interested in the remote possibility of writing copy for a squeeze page anyways!?!?!? someone who's broke probably ![]() maybe a copy cub - anywho - i've done my good deed for the night... and managed to be an a$$hole at the same time... PEACE |

If you say You are "a tire kicker" and expect a "killer deal" how exactly should that work??? And: any copywriter that needs testimonials is probably not yet that professional. Here is what I suggest: Head over to www.google.com/websiteoptimizer and set up 2 squeeze pages. Even if you start out with very little knowledge, you will soon be an expert and you will have developed your own high converting squeeze page. HP |

You won't get a quality copywriter with a deal. It just doesn't happen - If you want results, you need to find a copywriter that can produce them. Copywriters that produce don't need "tirekicking" clients as they probably have a constant flow of people willing to spend money to make money. If you are looking for the cheapest, then this truly isn't the place to grab ahold of a copywriter. |

Who actually admits to being a tire kicker while trying to invest at the same time? C'monn.. you take that seriously? I write a lot of copy myself and recognize the investment aspect. This initial post was intended to get some quotes. I don't know what copywriters charge for a simple opt in page, I'm researching. I do plan on investing in the near future. When someone offers me something where value exceeds the price, I'll get the money for it. I'll go to the Warriors Looking to Hire section or whatever... I'm a businessman, I know how these things work. ![]() I know I've left some posts in this forum on copywriting not being the place to cut corners on expenses... But nonetheless, thank you for the advice. You are absolutely correct about world class copywriters being in high demand. Thank you for looking out, I know you mean well...

Can you PM your squeeze pages? I have been writing copywriting for myself and marketing partner for years, and have just recently started writing copy for others. Let me see what you have, and we can work out a deal. I can show you samples of what I've done as well. I'm sure you'll find them intriguing ![]() Truly, Raiel Schwartz |

I know Ross Bowring has had some great success in this niche in the past. I think he's around the $3 000 mark for a squeeze (opt in) page these days. He might be more or less though... wouldn't hurt to get in contact with him. There are probably other guys who've gotten killer results with MLM stuff... I just know Ross is scary good... a nice guy... and we've talked about him hitting it out of the park in this market. -Daniel |

This reminds me of job offers on Elance. There is always someone who wants kick-ass copy, veteran copywriter, proven track record, native English (really ... a read-proffer is not expensive) and their budget is $250. Drop me a line if you want. I'm not interested in a flat fee, but rather a percentage rate. However, monetizing a squeeze page directly may prove a little difficult. In any case, here is my email: razvan.rogoz@gmail.com. You don't pay anything so even if we don't work together, we're going to exchange some ideas. Thanks, Razvan |

This thread is a perfect example of why so many toxic client/copywriter relationships manifest.

I'd like to thank everyone in this post for their replies... You have all given me a lot to think about... For the record, I'd like to say that I a "deal" could a copywriter offering to look over my copy, give me some pointers, and maybe even throw out a headline... Maybe all I really need is a better headline anyways? I'm happy to pay a fee for the advantage of this specialized skill. I wouldn't trust just anyone who offered me a price that seemed too good to be true... Just like I wouldn't hire a doctor to perform a surgery just because he was running a special that week. I know there have been a lot of freebie seekers in this thread asking for free critiques and all, and I think that may have had part in conditioning many copywriters here to look for that behavior. Then I could be mistaken on that... A great deal doesn't have to involve a price cut. How about some creative persuasion? I mean a skilled copywriter's time is limited and in demand... Working with someone who's achieved this kind of skill level would be a tremendous opportunity, and that's a killer deal in my book. Or I could pass up that opportunity and go back to my less-than-desirable conversion rate... Seriously.. it's already "cost" me quite a bit sending all this traffic to my page and only capturing a small percentage of it. If I could incerase that number, it would make my price per lead go down and I would regain my investment in a short time. As mentioned previously, I do have a money making funnel in place... I think by increasing my conversion rate on the opt in, I could increase the sales by result... I enjoy writing copy, I wouldn't be posting this thread asking for help if I didn't have a certain level of seriousness... I did say I was in the 'tire kicking' stage, but that's just one step in the sales process. I think honesty is important, even if what's honest doesn't seem desirable at the time. I'm not setting false expectations. I think there might have been some confusion in what I was asking for. I would like to clarify any misunderstanding by stating that I have nothing but the highest level of respect for many of the professional copywriters in this forum. I look up to many copywriters here and actively read posts in this section daily. HP, thank you for the resource. I will take your suggestion and do some more testing. Raiel, I'll send you a PM... Daniel, $3000 for a capture page?! I have got to check this guy out! THANK YOU! Razvan, happy to get in contact with you and exchange some ideas... |

Just to re-iterate... I'm not 100% sure where Ross' fees are right now. That's an educated guess based on the last time we talked which was several months ago. Just wanting to be 100% up-front here. Also.. you can contact him at Bowring Marketing - he's also a Warrior here... username "Ross Bowring". -Daniel

As a former MLM/Network Marketer myself (I made a killing working the Global Resorts Network when it first came out,) I would really suggest making this more of a centerpiece: "The Evolution Of Network Marketing And The Exact Steps You Need To Take In Order To Brand Yourself As A Knowledgable Leader In Today's Emerging New Economy" Being a leader and building a team dynamic is HUGE for being successful in this industry. Illuminating easy how to steps for becoming a team leader and teaching others the method to accomplish the same goal is crucial. The reason that most people fail in MLM/Network Marketing is the lack of having a "prosperity mindset" and being taught how to be a true leader who leverages the time of those they invite into the system. Demonstrating the value in things like running a weekly recorded conference call for your down-line or associates is a tremendous way to attract more new members under your tutelage. If you were able to communicate this value in your squeeze page, I guaran-damn-tee you'll see a massive upward trend!

Daniel, Way ahead of you, Buddy... I found this page, couldn't seem to stop reading, and before I knew it I was filling out the form at the bottom. $3k is high, but it got my attention. Mark, No problem on the clarification. I felt it was necessary to give credit where it was due, as this thread could have gotten out of hand. And thank you for the tip. I will break out the ol' swipe file and get to work applying this strategy. Best, Scott |

I will charge you .99 cents per letter verses my normal $1.00 per letter, so how many letters would you like in your copy?

I don't know this guy (and you don't know me anyway, so it wouldn't matter), but his ad in the services area looked interesting and maybe it's all you need. http://www.warriorforum.com/warriors...oney-back.html Terry |
