Ha! My favorite part was the drawing of his dad riding an evil cow. I think he should get into design as well. |

"Due to the size of the bunk bed you will most likely require a Russian built Antonov An-225 aircraft in which to collect it, a picture of which I have included. Sadly my father’s house lacks the appropriate equipment to refuel you for your return flight." I think we had these beds. |

It certainly keeps you entertained for 5 minutes... I don't know about the bed, but that baby is a darling... |

Love that the father puts this off on his kids. What are kids for anyways?

That made my day. I wonder if the guy would be willing to be hired to be a sales writer. |

| Quote: There was some material put out months ago that suggested ways to sell more. One was to do what this seller did by writing a story in hopes of the post going viral - attracting more viewers to their listing. This guy is far from the first who's done this - there have been several that have gone viral - I suppose the more of these that go viral, the more we'll be seeing. Some have been pretty good, others have been so so. | |

And this, "...if my sister is there you can poke her in the face for all I care since she has done nothing to change their minds about getting rid of the beds." Too funny. I'll bet the writer is a comic, a cartoonist, or a frustrated comic cartoonist. :-Don |

This one doesn't have much copy but the comparison chart is ROFL funny...doesn't look like it helped his sales though: Chevrolet : Camaro | eBay Maybe he took the same course that max5ty mentioned LOL |

![]() Anyway, I used copywriting to sell my motorbike on ebay... I had my license revoked after being caught doing 98 along a dual carriageway... 70 m.p.h. speed limit. Not bad considering they'd caught me on the deceleration from 145 m.p.h. ... Now because I was 2 miles under the 'instant ban' threshold, I thought I'd be fine... but since I'd only had the license for less than 6 months and didn't show up to court... they took it anyway... Anyway I had to sell the bike but I managed to make £300 more than it was worth ![]() Best part... when the guy came to pick it up he said 'I don't mind doing a bit of work on it... I loved the advert though '****in' made my day sir... and I got to keep the bonuses ![]() Except the ramp... Anyway, you should be able to still see it here: 2003 Yamaha FZS Fazer 600cc Red - ULTIMATE First Bike - | eBay (remember to scroll down) That was my early copywriting days bear in mind, but still... you could tell I had potential, right? ![]() If not, let me know and I'll get a screen cap going

Ooh, no, that is not how you sell a car or bike on eBay! Where are the spelling errors? And the text talk? U no u need that. Where are the multiple fonts? You use capital letters! Shame on you. And paragraphing? White space? Noo, why is this not one unreadble block? You included lots of details of the product. It is coherent. Far, far too good all round. Hehe. |

I can't access the listing but by the snippets I've seen in the thread, it sort of reminds me of this one Quote:

I read the Camaro copy, but failed to read the bunk beds copy, which sounds interesting. It was both removed from eBay and now a 404 page.

I read this. It was a catchy Ebay description. Congratulations on selling the bike. ------------ I couldn't access the bunk beds one though.
