While I was doing some research yesterday...

...ok, really I was just surfing the internet while I should've been working on a project.

Anyways

I came across this website -- I'd heard about it before from somewhere, but had forgotten all about it.

It's worth another reminder.

This product has a 100 year warranty. It is recommended that you mention the product in your will.

They even give links to their competitors.

Read the "our story" and the related links.

So many think of copywriters as someone who simply writes a sales letter -- more internet mentality I guess.

There's so many other things copywriters do.

Here is a great example of copywriting for a website. It's a good source of inspiration if you're stuck for ideas.

Fantastic how this bag maker brings out the best in what they have.

Especially love this line...

" Go ahead... the more you shop, the better we look."

on the page linking to their competitors.

Hey Ewen, that's pretty bold when you list your competitors, and even give their links.

It gives almost instant credibility to your products.

Then she's sitting at home on video telling about a customer had traded a
Luis Vuitton bag. She loved it and was carrying it around as her own.
Then she started to realize it was missing a few features.
She had time on her hands so set about designing a better one.

How's that for honesty!

Thanks Max5ty for posting this up.

Newer copywriters can certainly take some inspiration from this. The market is wide open for exploitation from a copywriting pov. You just have to use some imagination to find your niche.
