I've got 'just a few' website resources to tap into here for information related to direct mail copywriting but before I share one or two sites here, what have you got?If you know of any excellent direct mail copywriting resources online... please post them up below along with a description of the site in question if you feel like it... |

Their list of writers past and present is a virtual list of who's who. Their site is a complete swipe file of ideas -- I can spend hours just looking over things. You can sign up for their free newsletter and get stuff to use as a swipe file almost daily. You can also sign up for their free e-letters. I've also subscribed to their information magazines -- great stuff. Here's a link if you're interested...take some time and look around their site. You'll get some great ideas. This may sound like a bit of a cop out but it isn't. WHen it comes to research, I use ecommerce and social media sites sites like Amazon.com, eBay.com, YouTube.com as search engines. What am I searching for? I'm searching for what's popular, what's clearly got the attention of the market and is making money, what the content is, strategy, positioning, etc. If you want a more traditional answer: I've done a fair amount of business with WHO'S MAILING WHAT! Well crap -- now I'll be spending a lot of time looking them over, especially the first one, it's got so many interesting things on there that I think it could take hours to go through it all. Thanks for the links. Funny how sometimes you think you've found the best spots, then someone comes along and gives you a new link. It makes you wonder how you've never found them before... ...it's like discovering a whole new world. |

I agree with max5ty. It's wonderful. ANd it's inspiring as well. Both of them look like gems. And Arfa, Carline's site looks like a winner as well. Thank you, - Rick Duris |
