Hello, I'm thinking about a new concept of Bargain website and therefor I need also a very attractive domain. What do you think about the next domain name: getbarg.com (barg is short version of "bargain"). If you have other names to offer I will very appreciat if you will just send it here. Yours, Dok |

Most people don't know what barg is, so I would avoid it altogether. How about BargainDeals or SuperCoolBargains or something. You haven't said what your site will be selling - this would help as you could base your URL around that. |

I think it's good. You're probably not bothering with SEO, so make your domain brandable! Instead of choosing exact domain matches ![]() Getbarg.com will do! |

GetBarg.com is terrible. You want something like BargainBasement.com or TheDealHouse.com or something like that. In fact, I just checked one I'm going to give you that will probably be snapped up if you're not quick. It's available right now. TheSaleShed.com That's much better. |

I agree, using the word "barg" as short for "bargain" does not sound good. Why not use the whole word bargain. Dietriffic's ideas are good. |

in that case, something with the word 'auction' in it would work. E.g. AuctionShed.com Just thinking... make sure your target market are familiar with the word 'shed'. I'm in the UK and it's a familiar term over here. |

People know what an auction is. They know the concept of bidding and offers, it's all familiar to them. So if you're going with an ebay style site, it's difficult to be more descriptive in one word than using 'auction' in the name. Auction tells them all they need to know. If you want something different, you might try, TheHaggleHouse.com or something like that, but I'm not sure if it's better. |

Listen dok, no offence, but if I managed to think of anything better than what you've been given already, I'll be buying it myself. Some of those domains I gave you I could probably turn a profit on just by owning them. Grab AuctionShed.com before I have to say "I told you so".

I really appreciate your domains suggestions but it's too long and too banal. As I wrote you before I'm looking for more creative and short domains. hope you understand it. Yours Dok

Barg honestly sounds close to barf (and the g is next to the f, so not that far off to type either). Spend a little more and buy a better domain.

Barg, for some reason, sounds vulgar. Almost like "barf." I would not use it.
