Wonder if you could help me.

I have some good news for a long lost client who is happily floating about in cyberspace and I just can’t get hold of them.

And I know next to nothing about the wonderful Internet.

So…

Is it possible to find who the hosting company is - if a site uses private name servers? If so how do I do it?

As always your help would be greatly appreciated.

Try this Steve,

Go to WHORush.com, your source for information on domains and type in whois:followed
by website name into search bar.

May help.

Another way is to type into Google persons name and contact in quotes.

Also try plugging in their name at

Pipl - People Search

Pipl will do a much deeper search for an individual's information than a Google search.

Most websites have a contact email. If you know the website you should be able to find this by looking around the site a bit.
