Does putting a price like "$20" in subject lines of e-mails trigger spam filters?
Thanks Alerner |

Oh yea! and words like Free....just look at how the big pros do it to get your attention and get you to open. Just ask yourself what would you want to click on? Frank Kern pointed out that an email that says "Bad News" gets a much higher open rate than one that said "Good News"....must be human nature. But if you are in the internet marketing niche you better be creative. Just join some major newsletter from someone you admire and watch the titles they send you and you can gauge what really works that way. Aweber actually has a little meter in it that can give you an idea on how spammy your email may be. | |

In general if you talk about money in an email (or even worse 'making money') then your email will trigger some spam filters

Ok. So if I still want to use the price in the subject line, which would attract the least spam rating?
1. $20 2. Twenty dollars 3. Twenty bucks Thanks for your replies |
