I found this sales letter written by Hank Burnett in a book. The ad was for a $10,000 expedition. (just found it online too The Admiral Byrd Society Sales Letter (Copywriter: Hank Burnett))

Does anyone know if Hank Burnett ever wrote a book on advertising or salesmanship? If so, I can't seem to find one anywhere...

I could not find a book by Burnett either, but the expedition trip sounded awesome, including meeting the Emperor of Japan!

I'm not sure what the offshore fishing for rifle fish in Australia was about - the only rifle fish I know of is near shore. It's an amazing fish, though - it literally shoots down bugs. Given water refraction, that's pretty impressive. Here's a video of one:

Which makes me believe that you can ask Lawrence Bernstein to contact her on your behalf. Or better yet Google her name to see if she comes up on Facebook, Twitter, Linked etc.

You may also consider reading (if you have not yet done so) another great letter he wrote that is featured on page 358 of the book Million Dollar Mailings by Dennis Hatch. In the book you will also find the list of clients Hank Burnett wrote for, together with a brief story of his life.
