Hey guys, I have a fitness site that I'm sending paid traffic to. I have 3 optin forms on the site. I need help crafting a better headline, or more compelling bullet points in my sidebar optin. The site is geared towards busy people (parents, students, executives, etc.) that want to get fast results in as little time as possible. I have an autoresponder series of fitness tips and want to know how to increase my optin rate. I have a sidebar, but I want make it even more compelling. site is: www.exerciseroutinesblog.com Thanks, Raza |

Hi Raza, Given it's a new year still, and summer on the way, I'd focus on weight loss rather than fitness. I'm sure you can find lots of references for those types of headlines and bullets. - Rick Duris |

Thanks Rick. Makes sense. I'll go to the affiliate section of the products I'm promoting and swipe their top converting article headlines. Best, Raza |

It's a little hard to give blind advice without seeing the site. Can you post the link?

Two comments: 1) First, take out the arrow and make the headline bigger. And red. The arrow grabs attention, but it's also very tacky and takes up a lot of space. Just make the headline catch attention instead. No need to go through the "middleman." 2) You need proof elements, embedded in the headline and the copy. Instead of "#1 Trick to Build Muscle & Burn Fat in 20 Minutes/Day," something like "Olympic Athlete Discovers One Easy Trick to Lose Fat in 20 Minutes / Day." Don't say it if it isn't true, I'm just saying you need something that demonstrates credibility in the sidebar. Screaming bold claims aren't enough in a market like weight loss. It's all over the place, people's first reaction to any claim is "B.S." You need proof. Proof. Proof. Proof. My 2 cents. |
