Default Article Writing Sub-Forum?

After seeing all of these article posts up and having to wade through them to get to the juicy stuff, I was thinking it was time to have an article writing sub-forum to separate the 2 from each other...

So copywriters do you think it is time to have Allen do this?

YES!

It's a drag to have to constantly remind, nag, & whine about it in the name of staying on topic.

You know what they say about pigs and vocal lessons, right?

"to have Allen do this" - strange wording there. Don't think that quite the way it happens. I looked at the entire first page of topics in this section - and only saw about 6 that seemed concerned with article writing.

So - we need an article section and another person has asked for an offline strategies section. Another wanted a separate section for "watch me" or "challenges"....

A few more and all we'll have in the main section is "Hi, I'm new - how do I make $XXX in XX days"

I'm not sure it's going to make a difference. The problem is twofold:

1. People do NOT read the forum descriptions.
2. Many ignorant people think copywriting and article writing are the same thing.

Because of this situation, I hardly post here.

Perhaps if there were two separate sections - one for copywriters and one for article writers - then perhaps this would stop a lot of the confusion about who does what? The article writers would go to their sub-forum and the copywriters can stay on this sub-forum?

This could also help some of the internet marketers too. Those seeking article writers could ask away on the article forum while people seeking copywriters can ask right here?

Just a thought.

I agree... that's why I rarely post here as well.

That said, maybe a separate forum for everything about article writing would be worth testing. This copywriting forum started out fairly well but eventually got bogged down with off-topic crap. If the off-topic stuff can be moved by a moderator to the right place, it would be a big help to reviving this sub-forum.
