I am a new copywriter who has been asked to bid on writing a direct mail sales letter pitching a financial newsletter. The letter will probably be around 20 pages long. I have no idea what to charge. Any suggestions would be great.

    Lol.

A sales letter pitching a financial newsletter?

    Hmmm....

How much money does the client stand to make, best case scenario?

How confident are you that you can help them achieve that goal?

    How much is that worth?

    Cha-Ching!

    Or...

    What does the newsletter accomplish?

    What's that worth?

Don't focus on the length of the letter.

    That just mind-screws yourself.

It doesn't matter if the letter is 5 pages... Or 20... As long as it accomplishes the goal you're hired for.
