Default Writing copy for job advert

Hi all

Much appreciated if anyone can come up with good suugestions/ideas on writing a advertt copy for Job advertising Head Mechanical/Electrical Engineer.

All I am trying to do is revamp existing boring advert which only talks about company i.e 'we' instead of 'you' to one which will not only draw the reader attention but also get him interested by engaging his emotions, flame his desires and force him to take action i.e old formula of AIDA.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

Hi,

It might be easier to help if we knew a bit more about the job - ie.,

Become a Supervisor over x employees and take home this wonderful hike in your bi-weekly paycheck. Work includes 6 weeks vacation starting with your first paycheck. And 3 months paid sickleave for you, your immediate family and all your cousins. You must have a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, 67 years of continuous experience as an Electrical Engineer and be willing to work 80+ hour work-weeks. [Naturally I'm exaggerating here ;-) but you get the idea, I hope.]

Given today's global economy, I'd think that ANY posting for hiring someone would draw in like a hundred or so applicants.

Good luck and hope this helps,
Dot
