An emotional hook for a removals company?

I'm helping a removals company to market their business and I'm trying to think of the end product which the customer recieves, what feeling does a customer get when a company helps them move their stuff?

I'm finding it a bit tricky to attach an emotion to this type of service, any ideas?

They experience a feeling of relief (the emotional benefit of freedom) knowing that they don't have to cart their stuff from point A to point B.

Sharon Livingston has narrowed down a wide range of emotional benefits to a list of 37. You can find the list here...

    Security.

Make them sure that their stuff will not be destroyed or lost somewhere in the process...

Tell them they will get status notifications twice a day... by phone!

I'd say go with relief. Or rather a feeling of taking away the hassle of moving. People hate moving because it just involves so many little tasks that add up to a tiring, stressful experience. Make them feel the relief of not worrying about all those things, because your company offers a simple to use, professional service.

I would say mentioning things about Feng Shui -- like inner reflects the outer and vice versa. A clean and organized home bring more quality 'chi' into it -- means more energy ... A clutter room feels like a person with over stuff feelings after he eats a gigantic meal and it felt lethargic -- and tired -- and ... bring up the terrible feelings of having a smelly and clutter home -- and God forbid .. what would the neighbor say???

"We take all the stress out of moving house"

"(Name of Company) make home moves easy"

Moving house can be an extremely stressful process. Unsettling emotionally. What most home movers are looking for is to alleviate or minimise this stress to an absolute minimum.

What this target audience are looking for is a seamless move where everything is taken care of for them with the minimum amount of fuss or aggravation.

The sooner they can settle into their new home the better.

This should be your biggest emotional hook.

Provided above are a couple of tag lines / strap lines which you are free to use with my compliments.

Go for the angle of taking the burden off the homeowner ensuring the actual move itself is as quick and painless as possible allowing the family concerned to settle easily into their new way of life.

If you need help and/or advice, feel welcome to give me a shout.

        Warmest regards,

        Definitely not!

Feng shui? Yes, I know what it is but believe me when I state this is the last thing going through most people's mind when they're contemplating moving home.

'Inner reflecting the outer' for a removal company? The market would think they're bloody crackers (the removals company) if they took this approach - it's the most absurd, daft, silly marketing angle I've almost ever heard of. Bordering on absolutely ridiculous.

The rest of your advice is equally absurd.

Carl, you could go with the emotional hook,
or go with a proven ad for a removal company.

One which sent 2 of it's competitors out of business
and the original biggest player was able to be bought out,
          since it became so weak...

all from a damn good ad.

          PM if you want it.

          Best,
          Ewen
