My first EVER Squeeze Page (Critique)

Any recommendations? Too basic? Need better headline?

I am using optimize press and I feel that Copyright shouldn't be on the bottom to remove the scroll bar, but I don't know how to remove that.

Looks damn good James, and don't worry about the copyright. You can always put copyright 20lbsofmuscle.com - If anything, you could maybe tweak the title a little bit more to give a better description with benefits

You are confusing copywrite and copyright. They do not mean the same thing.

Sometimes the simpler method is the best. I think it looks good, just split test it and see what works for you.

When it comes to split testing, do I just make another page and switch up the headlines, maybe colors or opt in box, and basically test one for X amount of days and then switch to the other one for X amount of days?

For a basic A/B split test, make a copy of the page you want to improve and change one element of it. The original page is called the control, the copy is called the test.

Looking at your page, I think the easiest test to start with would be the headline - at the moment it's focused on the promise, I'd test focusing on the problem.

Then you use split testing software to run both at the same time - half your traffic being sent to the control, the other half to the test. You don't want to run one after the other because external factors that might be present one week, but not the next, can affect conversion (holidays, product launches, etc).

Sooner or later, depending on the amount of traffic you're getting, one page will win and that will be your new control. Be careful not to stop the test as soon as one page moves ahead - you want to wait for the result to be statistically significant, meaning the result is not down to chance.

Then rinse and repeat.

When you get more experienced, and if you've got the traffic, you can test more than one variation and even more than one element (multivariate testing).

Yes it's a great squeeze page. It's very unusual for the headline alone (and the copy on the book graphics) to hit the target bang on, without having to use bullets as well.

Hitting a target without bullets - whatever next?

Although, it's another thing you can test.

Good luck, but with lots of targeted traffic I don't think you'll need any luck, it should to be a winner.

In the future, yup. At the moment, I need to stop spending so much time on the specifics and get some traffic to it.

Yup yup!

I love optimize press. It would have taken me about 100 days and 100 more dollars to create what I did there in a couple of hours.
