New Sales Copy? Comments Please

I am not sure exactly if this is a sales copy as such. I am testing a few things out at the moment with regards to making money on the internet. One of them being the bum marketing method where I write articles to EzineArticles and link them to a blogspot landing page.
I am not sure what to put on this page because I do not want to give them too much information about the product because that is done on the publishers landing page and I do not want to write too little so that they click my affiliate link.
Before anyone says, yes I know I should be writing things to my own website for longer-term success. I am doing that too.
I am just a little confused as what to change here. All constructive comments welcome. Thanks in advance!

Some quick thoughts: Dump the first two paragraphs. You say you don't want to waste their time, so don't. They don't want to know about you, they want help solving their problem. So start with "How does it feel being in a job you don't enjoy."

You should have a bit more concrete information about how to write a resume. If you give them something they can actually use, they'll be more likely to click through to learn more. You can reveal quite a bit more than you are without giving away the store.

Change the "Click Here" to say something more specific that relates to the problem you're trying to solve for them -- maybe "Find Out More About Creating Your Own Killer Resume" (or something like that).

Richard, I don't see how the post adds value to any reader's life.

You have vague allusions to the importance of job satisfaction, the importance of a resume, and an assortment of emotions job hunters might have.

Yet despite the title, there is not a single word about HOW to write a resume. There is a tip about colored paper and about a picture. Yet even those tips contradict what some job counselors say.

There is a picture of some grinning guy, but it's not clear if that's you.

There's not the slightest hint of who you are or why anything you say about resumes should be believed.

There's also an assumption that the reader has kids and is complaining.

If you already know that the reader can do this, then why would they need to get information about how to do this?

That just flat out contradicts what media in my town keep on reporting: that even the most menial of job postings get flooded with far too many applicants to sort out.

If your goal is to make money by writing resumes, then give some tips and show some before and after samples.

If your goal is to help people through the recession with better job hunting skills, then give some real content about job hunting in a recession.

The sentences and paragraphs are clearly written and short, and the whole thing is not too long. Other than that, I really don't see much to work with here. Maybe there is some compelling strategy that you've not shared, which would make this all make sense.

Sorry to be harsh, but if I was looking for resume advice in this economy, and came across your post with high hopes, I'd be using even harsher words right now.

This should say "fewer people", not "less people". You can have "less cheese" but you can't have "less people", only "fewer people".
