Hello Fellow Warriors! I am looking at making comedy based marketing videos using pics and vids I find on websites that curate such content. I do not want to violate the law, even thought the possibility of the original individual seeing their image/likeness is very remote. What is the best way to go about using this content? I have reached out to these sites to ask them about using their content. But even if they give me permission, and I pay them, am I opening myself up to the possibility of several lawsuits down the road? I know the chance of a copyright lawyer answering this question is remote, but I figured this forum was a good place to start in my research on this possible new venture. Thanks Marshall |

This isn't the copyrighting section - it's the copyWRITING section.
