So now the online offer is being presented more by a 'talking head' (without the full production budget of a corporate video). I am looking for video resources on how to script and deliver online sales offers by video - with a focus on the budget of talking head. I get that many of the copywriting books will apply, but I would like to learn visually and be taught visually for something I am delivering visually. Because there are all the elements of body language & tone etc to consider on top of the actual copy. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I might find such video resources? eg persons, web sites Thanks if anyone can help. |

InfomercialToolkit.com - pricey but a good product for the serious student. One of the best practices is to watch good TV presenters and try to emulate how they behave in your own style - and be aware that online, super-slick doesn't necessarily sell well. I noticed one Warrior here is an acting coach and he is launching a product soon. That might be helpful. In the end it is experience and self-correction that will help you develop your own style and ability to present with confidence. If you put out a lot of videos with your head people will send you comments here and there, and the positive ones can make your ego soar, in a good way. As a rule of thumb each person who gives you a compliment could represent 10 or more who feel the same way but didn't tell you so. I'm getting more and more into video myself - generally I improve a little with every thing I put out, so it's just like a lot of things that way. Regarding scripting - well, people watch to be entertained more that you might expect. I'm not saying be silly, but do cut-out the boring stuff. |
