I just launched this site and am getting a ton of clicks from my CPA email partners but the conversions are NOT there.
I can only figure it is the content on the landing page. Paid Surveys - SurveyCity: The World's Largest Paid Opinion Website I am a business man so I don't have thin skin. All comments are appreciated. Thanks! |

overall is pretty good, feel you have a disconnect when you start stating the 5 reasons.
If i'm going to the site, most likely I want to learn how I'm going to make money dong survey's all day. Right now you don't tell me... Reason #1... Make Money Easily!, personally I would take out easily, it doesn't help. I would explain how they could make money which in itelf would signal it's pretty easy. Reason #2: Save Time....save time? I don't think that's helping you, I would just change this into another benefit of doing survery online, just mentioning you update all the time is good enough. Right now...saving time isn't a reason to sign up for a survey site. Expecially when the first reason is explaining what online survey's are and how they work, so reason # 2 is incongruent to that, why would I be searching survery's online if I don't know about this kind of thing. The rest follows suite, I recommed using the 5 reasons part as 5 compelling reason to take survery's online, then after that you explain why they should pick you site to do so. Expecially since you started the copy off with that theme. |

Good feedback...I made a few tweaks based on that. I will have a professional voice talent audio intro as well soon.
More feedback is appreciated! |

My initial reaction was, "Oh... another survey scam site." Then I saw the site--it looks great, which adds credibility... has lots of credibility building elements like press mentions, corporate logos, etc..... has a strong guarantee... These are good elements.
As for conversions, you'll want to keep testing different variations. Different layouts, headlines, etc. I'm sure you're aware of Google Optimizer. Just keep testing. Here are some things to test... You might consider leading with the guarantee in the headline or subhead. Something like "Get Paid Within 8 Weeks, Or Your Money Back!" You might consider nixing all the exclamation points. Just see what happens when you do that. "Make Money Easily" doesn't have a strong emotional connection. Try "Earn Extra Cash" or... "More Spending Money." These sound more realistic and considering what the economy is doing and how skeptical people are--and how desperate some of them are, then this may resonate more with them. In fact, you might consider leading with that in the headline. List out the bonuses so they're more obvious. Make the text slightly (just slightly) larger. Consider moving the opt-in box higher into the header area, and make it stand out more. The "Top 5" reasons could all be expressed using stronger words. I already mentioned "earn extra cash". Change "Save Time" into "Save Loads Of Time"... "You could waste hours and hours searching for legitimate paid surveys on your own..." etc. Change "Our Guarantee" to "8 Weeks To Cash Guarantee". Change "Safety and Security" to "Legitimate Surveys Only". See what I mean? They need more impact. Your income estimator has one flaw: Your prospect has no idea what the average money earned for each survey is. Provide that information FOR them. Then let them decide how many surveys they want to fill out to calculate their earnings. Don't call it "potential income." Say, "Use This Calculator To Estimate How Much Extra Cash You Could Have In Your Pocket"... See what I mean? It will carry more believability... and at the same time make a more emotional connection. |

Thanks Joshua!...I took all of your feedback to heart.
1. fonts size was enlarged 2. Inserted a new headline for the "top 5 reasons" 3. Fixed the calculator (I never really thought of that problem you mentioned!) 4. added more compelling guarantee text and willl add the main header as well. Keep the ideas coming!!! |

It's pretty good, but I would more the optin box above the fold.
With a capture page like that the key is to make it as easy as possible for someone to sign up. You might want to test a version without the "bells and whistles" The other thing is that maybe the traffic you are getting is not that great for conversions. You really have to create very tightly focussed campaigns with very specific landing pages for specific keywords. Always try and remember the PPC workflow: Keyword >> Ad >> Landing page = those 3 work and in hand to craete a conversion |

Yeah Ive heard that kind of audio message over and over again and they were all scams so no I dont think so(if your not scamming this is not good way to dissassociate yourself from them). Even the banner of corporate Logos on top is exactly like another of these sites. Bottom line is: I want to see real numbers (numbers that show me how much money i would make if i am an "average" user) Also, if what you are offering is really true then you would invent a new system where we dont have to pay a cent until we get 5 cents. If this opportunitty is really true then people would be ready to pay twice what you are asking. Bottom line is the survey industry is in deep doodoo and they are hogging all the cash and fudging the numbers to keep the money to themselves and hindering the process of product evluation at the same time.

Really good site. Two comments. There is no call to action on the bottom. When I get to the bottom I dont naturally know what to do.
Comment 2, the sign up sort of confuses me. Don't I get something free first? In other words it looks like a free sign up box not a sales box so I was not expecting for you to jump to clickbank. Just me maybe. |

I think it looks great. The site is easy to read, well laid out, and explains everything well.
The only change I would make, if it were mine, is to put an E in front of the XTRA. XTRA cheapens it a bit. |

I fixed the word "Extra" in the form header, I also added credit card logos to the sign up form to clarify that the call to action is a purchase....let me know if this is clearer.

Changes look good. Maybe add credit card stuff to bottom as well? I like the social networking look and kind of MSNish look. You should design sites for side work! | |

I am a newbie, but the page looks really good and the comments and advice the others have given sound great! Two small things that I will mention is that
1) you can't pause the audio and have it restart at the same spot, rather you have to listen to the whole thing over again from the beginning. 2) and, why is there no "0" option for the focus group portion of the "how much can I make" calculator? Do you have to do a focus group? Other than that it looks great and glad to see you're doing well! |

I think you did really good from what you began with and the sales are proof it works.
One last comment, that audio starting by itself is scary. I think its ok but I had to look hard for the off button. Freaked my dog out. :-) Good job! |
