About 6 months ago I threw together a sales page for my real estate infoproduct, and split test it against what I thought was a better page. And forgot about it. I was shocked to discover that this thrown-together page outsold the other page by about 75%! And once I stopped the split test and just used the winning page of course my sales went way up. Since then I've tried to beat this page using a bunch of different techniques I've learned, to no avail. I'll provide the winning page to you by email, they're not letting me post links here. Is anyone interested in submitting a "challenger" to beat the unbeatable page? I'm sure there is tons of room for improvement. you'll have better luck just investing money into a proven copywriter than asking for free help. Don't expect an overwhelming response of decent copy writers. BTW- what type of inveseting for tax deed's is this? Is it about assigning contracts? do you do any investing in texas? im going down with a friend to texas next month.. bringing 1mil.+ down there for the auction. first time going down there. |

Several points: 1. Any decent copywriter is already backed up and doesn't have the time to spend 40+ hours on a sales letter someone "might" pay him for. Heck, I haven't been offering my services long and I already have a backlog... let alone copywriters who have been around a lot longer to build that momentum. 2. You could post your URL in your sig. 3. Working on spec is a sucker's bet. How do I know YOU can create targeted traffic that will convert? It's not like you've paid for the letter... there's no real motivation for you to hold your end of the bargain if things get tough. Just a few reasons no decent copywriter will take you up on this. "And forgot about it." That simple phrase tells me the following: 1. This isn't your main business 2. It's not important enough to do simple follow-up on. Clearly you do not have a large financial or emotional stake in this winning. If you are not serious enough about this to actually check up on it, why would a writer want to spec their time working up a letter? |
