Thoughts on Yanik Silver Ultimate copywriting program?

Hey guys....

Anyone out there purchased the ultimate copywriting program by Yanik Silver. Looking for something that will help but $795 seems a bit steep, any thoughts or reviews would be appreciated.

    A good indication of its value is the resale price.

    Check around the internet (start with eBay) and see what the program is selling for used.

    I have an original set of the DVDs, and I found them boring. There's other elements to the full program... I don't know about them.

    It's been several years now, but from what I remember the program was good.

    Really though, I would ask myself what do you expect to get from one of these programs?

    You don't need an expensive course to learn copywriting.

    You'll save a lot of money just buying and reading a few good books on the subject. I would start with Dan Kennedy's Ultimate Sales Letter. Another good book has to do with selling; called the Psychology of Selling by Brian Tracy.

    Next, find some classic ads and practice by either hand writing or typing the ads verbatim.

      Thanks fellas.

      Personally, its the swipe files that's important to me. I've been at it a little over a year and half now and have a couple of product launches in site and to be honest, I dread writing the copy.

      Its a 3-4 week process to write a sales page. I was actually researching Kennedy's books when I ran across Yanik's copywriting course.

      Again, its the swipe files and templates that interest me. Any suggestions on where to go for something like that?

      P.S: Almost forgot, I really liked the sales page he used for the program and actually used it to help tweak previous sales pages.
