Are you, were you, an addict?

Washed up? Homeless? Convicted? Broke? Lost your creative edge? Think people think lesser of you?

Bullshit.

Here's an ad agency that's doing quite well. Best of all? Staffed by former addicts.

  • I guess copywriting is a great business to get into if no one will give you a job.

Everyone needs it, practically no one does it well, and you can learn everything you need to know with $50 and a trip to the book store.

Well, that plus a ton of practice.

I had a summer job once working construction for a family friend. He was a recovered addict, and hired a lot of recovered addicts (well, mostly recovered).

      A lot of interesting people.

I could see addicts making great copywriters. If you can spin words smooth enough to hide an addiction, you can convince people of anything.

You are absolutely right. It just take one letter, one email, one post and you're on your way.

I think it's a really interesting hook to score business. And I'll be it'll fair well getting government projects
