Hi Everyone: Where is the best place to get Ebay Auction Sales Letters written for digital products? They don't have to be masterpieces because I am going to add video to them, but I don't have time and hiring a real copywriter would be cost prohibitive. I am also not good with Ebay HTML and graphics. I have about 10 products, but will have them continually. Many times there is already a sales letter with the products, but I would like to combine them. In some rare cases there is no sales letter with them. How should I bid this job? Where should I bid this kind of job? Is is realistic to get someone that I will be able to work with over time? Is this the kind of work someone would outsource, or should I just suck it up and find the time to do it myself? How much should I expect to pay someone that will have the language right, but make it appear good? Is the Warrior Forum a good place, or is this the kind of thing that I am pricing myself out of the box for? Your advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Charles |

Hey Charles... This subforum is a good place to find writers. If you add some details to your post, such as price, you'll probably get some interested writers posting right here or PMing you. Hope that helps. -David Raybould |

David: Thanks! I am a little stuck on how much I should be looking to pay for a job like this, especially if I want to do more big digital packages. Any ideas on how much something like this should bid out for? Charles |

Well... I always advocate paying as much as you can to hire the best writer you can afford... In general, the more you spend, the more you make back with higher conversions etc Obviously you need to take into account how much you're potentially making from each sale etc too. Does that help? |

Some people may disagree, but video is not a replacement for a good sales letter. As for where you can bid for a job, you probably have a hundred PMs in your inbox already |

So should I do a video AND a sales letter? I have a special offer that I am going to put with all of my digital products on ebay. Charles |

Yeah Charles, definitely do a video and a letter. In fact, a good copywriter should easily be able to write your video script as well. Because a script that sells will have many of the same components as a letter that sells. Take a look at Dan Kennedy's video on his main site http://www.dankennedy.com it's a great example of selling a person into opting in. Video is what all the gurus are doing now and it adds a great element of entertainment and interaction, when done properly.

Hello Brian: I think you are right. It seems as if David has the answer to my other question...there is no "going rate" for 10 ebay sales letters. As much as I am willing to pay for seems to be the answer. Charles |
