Hi, folks

There's a topic that I am interested in but I am not an expert, so I don't know how to develop my product, I was thinking to outsource it, but then I came across this question:
How am I gonna introduce myself to my leads if I am not the expert?
I do not want to tell them fake stories about myself and how I solved that specific problem.
Do you have any thought?

Thank you in advance

There are a couple of things that you can do.

Firstly - you could impliment something called "results based marketing" where you go out there, take action and create a specific result.

You can then use this result to teach others how to do the same etc.

If not... why don't you LEVERAGE some one elses expertise?

E.g. if you were looking to teach people how to make $100 per day... go and find someone who has/is making that.

    An expert at the subject.

Someone who is consistently acheiving the goal.

Let them know that you are looking to launch a product, and you would love to interview them, and feature them within in.

It will give them great exposure.

They can even add in a link to their capture page etc.

...Find out some great questions, and leverage their knowledge & expertise.

This will also position you as an authoirty figure.

...Also, you could even find 3-5 different people that are consistently acheiving the particular goal, interview them, and compile a product of 3-5 different interviews.

    Hope this helps!
    Tom :-)

Thank you Tom for taking the time!

You really gave me a hint. Regarding your idea:

".Also, you could even find 3-5 different people that are consistently acheiving the particular goal, interview them, and compile a product of 3-5 different interviews."

Besides exposure, how would you recommend to compensate the interviewees? I don't have a great budget if I am asked for a good payment, should I maybe consider the royalty payments?

      Thank you again!!
P.D: Can you recommend me a product development program?

  • You can go ahead and create a product like most of the people that are in the school business they are not trained t do but they still hire some people that will run the school while they manage it.

The same way it works in the online business arena.

Suggest you get on the Dan Kennedy GKIC list, they are currently blasting out emails regarding this topic.

Their advice is to NOT develop the product, fully, until after you have tested and found a market willing to buy it. Also, the "Reported" by is a time tested method to borrow cred.

What is this market currently buying and how does your idea fit in?

Ask yourself more questions, but don't fall in love with a product you don't know the market wants. Test. Test quickly and find out.

      Hi gjabiz,

Thank you very much for the suggestion, I really appreciate that!!
I have already joined Dan Kennedy's "Done With You" program
It is the first time I buy something from Dan, I've seen many good comments about him,
so I hope he delivers good information, even though I don't know him.
I talked to his support team and they said:

"...I think this is a product that will address your issues..."

So, I really hope this program tells me the "how to".
Obviously I know that I have to work very hard and I will.

Thank you again my friend for taking the time, wish you the best.
      Kind regards!!

I know from working with a lot of clients in the alternative health industry... you can often times claim to be a medical researcher or health consultant, or a reporter/investigator in your specific niche... and make it seem like you found some information while doing your "digging"

I guess you can call this the "exposé" approach in which you're bringing some news to light... and reporting it because you think it will help others.

This way, you can reveal the info without staking claim to it or saying you're an expert.

I often run quick teaser videos or surveys to see if a product is worth developing. These are like get on the earlybird list. Tell us the worst problems you've had with such & such.

You can then run a live webinar or hangout to gauge deeper response and even have a call to action or buy now for some product you are going to create.

Just make the first module or few modules and start selling.

If it sells then create on the fly and make the followup sales evergreen.
