Certain motives drive peoples buying decisions. Its helpful to know what motives their are, how powerful they are, and how it can effect your sales ability. There are over 7 different motives that drive peoples decisions.

Here are 3 in order of most powerful:

1. Motive of financial gain
2. Motive of fear
3. Motive of freedom

These 3 motives are not the most powerful as there are others. Financial gain, fear, and freedom all drive peoples motive to buy and you should use as many motives as possible in your sales process, so you may covertly enter your prospects mind.

    Hmm,

A lot would argue that fear is a stronger motivator than financial gain, I certainly would.

It may depend on how you look at it. And it may depend on the person as well. But what I've found in my research from authority figures is, this is what is "true".

Financial gain may also have fear involved as well (fear of poverty)- so one can see that in order to move away from fear of poverty- you would want to improve your finances.

Fear of poverty could be a trigger motivation to improve our financial gain ability, but the most important is we have to overcome "Fear of Take The First Step Action" ;-D

This is true people have a fear of taking the first step. People can fear uncertainty. But some people thrive on it.

You can have your opinion which is great. I'll still take Napoleon Hills advice and stick with that, unless a known authority figure can disprove factually otherwise.

          I'm always open for suggestions.
