May I please have a critique of my landing page?

Hi there. I've been reading posts on this forum for a while. I've finally created a website to sell a clickbank product. This is my first go at it. I've tried to adopt some techniques that resonate with me as far as not trying to sell anyone on the landing page and trying to create a relationship with the visitors. I know a lot of others do things differently, but since you know I'm coming from that perspective, you'll know why certain sales-like things are missing.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
My website is anxietysoup (dot) com and it's about social anxiety.
Thank you!

Looks good, one thing I felt on my quick visit was that the right sidebar was far too wide..

      Hi,

      A few pointers...

      1. I wouldn't have the site title listed twice near the top of the page.
      2. You need a better opt-in box graphic. Something with an actual ecover and not the PDF icon. At this point of online marketing, it's almost assumed by most visitors that it's going to be a PDF format for any digital download book or report.
      3. Your optin button needs to be a more compelling call to action than "Sign Up!"
      4. I would move the left sidebar menu to the right sidebar with the other CTA items you have there.
      5. Header and footer menus should be centered.

      Hope that helps,

      Mike

Thank you for your feedback! I will play around with the page formatting in my Wordpress controls. Aside from that, if you suffer from social anxiety is the writing and feel of the site something that would interest you? Is it boring? I can't really gauge that yet, I've just recently (like within the last few days) submitted articles to Ezines as well as contacted several websites directly for syndication. In other words, I haven't generated any traffic yet.
        Thanks.

There's more than one target market for social anxiety. For example: Men vs. Women, teenager vs. young adult.

The layout and design you opt to use needs to what would appeal to your target market. The easiest target market to go after is usually one which is closest to your own experiences or own self.

For example: A thirty-something woman who writes and offers advice to women under the age of 30.

Re: Traffic Generation. That's a whole different topic entirely. My usual rule of thumb is to establish what your conversion rates are, get it producing positive ROI, then start worrying about driving more traffic. But that's just my opinion.
