So let me tell you about this green buggy

Storytelling is powerful. Here a man tells the story behind the green buggy he has for sale on eBay UK -- the result is a much higher selling price.

Phil and teds green explorer double | eBay

"Anyway as you can tell I hate the buggy. I now have 3 children, and a Labrador and am forced to endure the school run where women I dont know try and discuss the price of centre parc holidays, and the benefits of the micro over the mini micro scooter. To summarize my life is over and this green albatross needs to go round some other poor sods neck."

That is incredible. It makes me scratch my head. Honestly. Why would someone buy that? Story or not.
Is honesty really that lacking, that when someone makes an honest add people want to support it?
    for 156,000 pounds....

    What?

Even if it is now a unique item it is still unfit for any child to be put in.

whoever said it was right I suppose, there really is one born every minute..... Good for ebay I am sure they will get an influx in new listings...

    Totally boggles my mind.

I'm an ex-circus man from the late 1970's early 1980s.

The actual statement: ""There's a sucker born every minute" well that famed showman PT Barnum never said that. To date there is no evidence he made that statement but there is speculation his rival David Hannum did.

That's incredible. And as a copywriter, really inspiring.

    I gotta try this someday.

LOL I don't like the word myself so I don't use it, sucker means fool to me, gullible , foolish for believing etc.., I don't think people are fools just impulsive.

Thanks for the clarification, funny how you repeat what you hear. I stand corrected.
