    Clever, entertaining.

Typical non-direct response advertising, though. No call to action... no way to measure its effectiveness.

So I'm gonna assume you have several Adobe products offered in the cloud?...

or is this just something you think is neat? I'm guessing the later.

Don't confuse cute advertising with results...they might win awards, but they do little for sales.

I have several Adobe products and I doubt this video would have convinced me to buy.

I'd classify as neither of the above. Just what I said in my O.P.

And No, it's not designed to instantly close you or get you to buy (par se'), just to "take a step closer" and consider what they have to offer as an alternative to buying fake clicks, followers, likes, etc. like a growing number of people are now .. (Check out Fiverr for example). It probably wouldn't convince you to buy because they're not talking to you, only the thousands or perhaps millions tempted to buy clicks, likes, followers, etc.

Soft sell .... "We Can Help" tagline and Contact logo (Well Known Brand) at the end is the CTA. "If" ...you want more information. It's not trying to sell, just make you uncomfortable enough to check us out as an alternative to entering or staying in the "shady world" of buying fake clicks, followers or likes, etc.

If it didn't cause you to buy then it was just another cute ad that tickled you.

        No money exchanged hands.

Hey, let's all go broke putting out cute ads.

I agree with your sentiments but I think Adobe can afford to have some fun with their videos - "top of mind" and all that. This has "viral" written all over it - especially if they turn it into a series.

I'm just kinda making a point with the OP.

He thinks it's a neat ad but he still didn't buy anything.

This ad is an older ad.

I'm not their target market. But I do own Adobe products if that's what you mean. I think it's a little more than "just neat" as you put it, goes a little deeper than that.

Why wouldn't you feel as though you're their target market.

You're into marketing or copywriting aren't you?

Couldn't be more of a target market than that.

I'm looking at it as a student, not a consumer. I can recognize a good sales vid without robotically reaching into my pocket and spending money, like I'm under a spell. But I see you're general point.

That's true, but the video was aimed at those who buy fake "clicks, followers and likes" for social marketing purposes (i.e Twitter, Facbook,etc.). That's the market the video was targeting. Not copywriting.

Really wasn't aimed at those you say because we all know they probably won't change.

It was aimed at the serious marketers that use professional methods to attract an audience.

Anyways, thanks for your post...it's always interesting to hear what others think about things.

Yes, I agree, but perhaps it's aimed at "serious marketers who use professional methods" whose tempted to fudge (cheat) a little too, I'm sure there's a lot of them, at least Adobe seems to think so.

Smart and short video. I like it.
It's Adobe, so almost everyone knows about them. So, this kind of marketing videos are perfect for keeping their share of the market and gaining new customers.

    Thanks for sharing.

It's no direct response ad, for sure, but does the job for top-of-mind awareness. It's interesting how these guys are playing at such a high level. If you ever get a chance to go to an Adobe conference, it's something to see. They took over the Convention Center, Staples Center and the Nokia Theater in LA. It was huge. I think it was this one:

    http://www.weareratio.com/blog/adobe...ng-experience/

They even had a small army of people on the sidewalks around the venues, acting as guides to help convention-goers find where they were going, sort of like Disneyland. You never see that at conventions here, even the really big ones. That is attention to customer service. It's an impressive company up close, and their stock has had a good run since the 90s (click on max):
