Remember i did not create this letter i got it from another rep in my company.

Dear MR. person last name. With the demand for auto coverage rising rapidly, being in the automotive industry puts you in the perfect position to easily boost your revenue.
Each one of your customers who buys a car from you should be introduced to the awesome benefits of the Motor Club of America. It works the same way as selling an upgraded Warranty or extra Insurance. Many customers need Roadside Assistance and Towing Coverage along with the many benefits we offer and now you have the opportunity to offer it to your customers. Not only will you make money on the financing, accessories, and extended warranties, but now you have the ability to make thousands Monthly on a product that your consumers need.
When a customer buys a car from you they will have the opportunity to have the Total Security Package and enjoy over $150,000 worth of coverage for only $19.95 a month and be protected with all of the many benefits that are listed below. For each customer you sell you will be paid $80-$90 from MCA. Selling 12 MCA Total Security packages a week to your customers is an Extra $1,000 in your pocket every week.
Motor Club of America offers great useful automobile coverage, with the Roadside assistance being the most popular. Battery boost, fuel delivery, tire change, lock-out-service, and unlimited towing up to 100 miles. In addition to Roadside assistance, Motor Club of America also offers Trip Planning/Travel reservations, Travel Assistance Reimbursement, Stolen Vehicle Reward, Credit Card protection, and much more all for only $19.95/ month.
Now what makes Motor Club of America stand out is that in contrast to all of the other auto coverage companies, MCA pays our members $80 - $90 per referral. Imagine how that could boost YOUR revenue. Out of all of the current and potential customers you have and come in contact with every day, 90% of them need this coverage. So not only will you be helping them get into the ride they want, with coverage they need, you will be helping yourself with a new source of income that actually compliments your line of business.
Even just one person a day would give you and/your business an earning of no less than $560 per week. I know that with having a successful car dealership, you understand the power of investing and what it will do for you so I figured this business proposal would fit you but benefit you none the less. You can take a look at the full list of benefits in detail at website. Please contact us via e-mail or call with any questions or concerns and to get more information. I wish you and your business continued success.

Stick to your postcards....unless you want to throw money away mailing this letter.

    I know you didn't write it...but that's the truth.

People will chuck the letter on the very first line.

If you want to send a letter out, Google Halbert's dollar bill letter. Swipe that. But get creative with it.

  • Yeah, even a spare tire bundled free with the letter would only make for a noose on this one.

I'm sure she believes that, but the truth is, this letter is going into the car dealership owners' wastebaskets. Might as well make that the outgoing address and get it over with.

I would change the letter's copywriter. Seriously, it would be less work for me to rewrite the damn thing than to tell you everything wrong with it.
