Anyone have good upsell sale letters? Post links here.

If you have any good tips to share in writing a good upsell letter, I'd also love to hear them. I'm doing my first upsell.

    Hey there Josh,

It depends on what you've given/sold already and how involved your list is with you. Ultimately an upsell letter is a sales letter. The critical things that make the difference are the relationship you have with your list.

The upsell could well be pitched as the ultimate guide to your field. If you've already given your prospect products already then you need to differentiate what you're selling now from what they already have, and tell them why the upsell is so much better.

It could be the bonuses, consulting you've included, that you've bundled a whole lot of different products together and that they make an entirely new system.

Some more info on what you're doing would help out.

      Thanks for the reply Hugh.

I email my list with great content about once a week and the occasional promotion. How would that affect the upsell?

The main package is a conversation skills book and workbook. Learn things like conversation starters, anxiety, body language, and how to keep talking. The upsell is going to be at least three bonus reports that leverage the original package like how to network and how to be funny.

It makes sense to word the upsell to get the most out of the package, but I'm concerned about degrading the original package.

Often there's a very large difference between your initial and upsell products. Your initial product might be an eBook on one part of the system, and your main product might be the complete system plus bonuses, DVDs, audio, even coaching and teleseminars.

Your initial product is often about generating the leads. Its difficult to say too much without really knowing your product but make sure your first product isnt too much, and your upsell product really brings it home.
