I am developing a SEO services site. I have curated 5the content myself but the tool is showing just 67% of genuine content. How mush percentage of content should be genuine to go live?

  • If your content isn't 100% genuine you have not business being in this business.

If you're curating content, you're not writing anything yourself. You're just copying the content. So the source is the website that originally published it.

Write the article by your own without copying from anywhere so that your content must be unique.Because you need 100% of genuine content .

Is it just me who is wondering whether anyone can write above 4th grade English around here anymore? This is supposed to be the copywriting forum.

Well, there's the suggestion that copywriters write at about a 6th grade level. Maybe they're overachieving.

But I think the blame can be more accurately directed at the verbal currency "du jour" aka sms, Twitter and hashtags #NotCool2WriteWrdsAnymore.

Add to that emoticons to express feelings and emphasis

But hey, doesn't that make writing easier? Just think no need for long sales pages - just a string of #tags and , plus $$$, your call to action and you're good to go.

        1daful (wonderful), no?

Well, you curated the content, which is why it's at 67%.

Have you considered writing it on your own? If you can't write it yourself, hire someone to do it for you. Simple, really.

The SEO Services site that you are trying to build will be doomed. You can get ideas but speak with it in your own words.

    67% ???
that is way to much geniue content.
looking at Google's internal documents that were leaked on a blackhat seo site i'm a member of, the ideal % is around 10%
you're spending way too much money on content when you could be buying more links.

You need 100 % genuine content, so rewrite the articles or change something in the articles some paragraphs in order to make them genuine.

You should have 100 percent of it being original. If you publish as is, someone is going to find out at some point and you could be in trouble with copyright and plagiarism issues. Many people think that a bit of copying is fine, but you are basically using the work that someone else has worked so hard on. How would you feel if you put in a lot of work on a project and then found out down the road that someone else has used it as their own? If you used quotes, make sure to put the credit right by that quote and then have an endnote as well. You might just need to change around a few words in the work and that will make it more unique.

If you want 100% unique content then first read content guidelines and rewrite your sentences having plagiarism issue. If your content 67% unique content then rewrite the sentences having plagiarism issues.

To guarantee your content is 100% original, write it yourself. If you're using research sources, make sure you're reading the content to fully understand the topic and then put that source away and write it completely in your own words. Unless you're using actual facts and statistics then quote the source. But if you're writing it yourself, it should return the result of being fully a unique piece.

I'd say if it's above 90-95% you're good to go.

For example, recently I... created... an article about social exchange to post on a web 2.0 of mine.

One of the sentences was something like " Facebook Likes, Twitter Followers, Instagram Followers, Youtube Subscribers, and more."

That piece came back as plagiarised. A few others similar to that also came back plagiarised. But these are basically generic things which are plagiarised a thousand times over online.

For me, 90-95% is acceptable, but 100% is better
