I'm not sure if this is quite the right forum to post this....but here goes.

I’m about to do some testing with a squeeze page using a ‘video spokesperson’ (the script is about 200 words – which translates into a 2 minute video

My question relates to the type of ‘video spokesperson’ I should use.

Does anyone have any experiences with the results using a male compared to using a female as the spokesperson.

I know there are more variable than just male /female to consider, but in general, why and when would you use a male rather than a female (and visa-verse)

Any info. would be helpful.

Both men and women seem to like a woman
    who is warm and friendly.

One of the all time squeeze pages on the LeadPages platform is a woman.

When there is a medical or health condition, then a male
in a white coat adds more trust and comfort.

Came across the same problem for a big project I'm working on.

There's so many other factors at play, I think its hard to be scientific.

I guess in a perfect world you could split test two videos, one with a woman and one with a man?

Otherwise, I think you have to trust your instincts.

I think women appeal to both sexes but also "woman" suggests
that this is easy to do or use. You'll find even for tools typically
used by men they would use a woman to demonstrate.
