If you use data to support references in your content or sales claims in your promotions, Google Consumer Barometer is a useful tool.

It shows consumer behavior online when researching purchasing products and services. You can peruse Google data, graphs and charts, as well as make your own. It now covers 45 countries and 10 product areas.

    I think it comes in handy, (I'll be testing soon, so as of today, just theory)...when writing copy for foreign (to me, USA) markets.

    In the US, we are a coast to coast mall, which most countries don't have, so our behavior is researched to the nth degree and we see the Targets, Wamarts. etc., try to use their data on us.

    But it appears, in many countries, there is more Internet research for products, I suspect just because they still have some green parks in their city and don't have the retail experiences we have.

    So thanks again for giving us some good research tools, you're the man when it comes to these things.
